RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No.005054 and AUTHORIZE the transfer of appropriations in the amount of $106,890 from Facilities Maintenance to Fleet Services- Internal Service Fund (ISF) for the purchase of three Ford Transit Med Roof Cargo Vans, as recommended by the Public Works Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This action increases appropriations in Fleet Services-ISF (4284) and reduces appropriations in Facilities Maintenance (4031, 4037, and 4038) by $106,890.

BACKGROUND:

The Facilities Maintenance Division is actively recruiting additional staff and needs to provide vehicles to the staff in order to meet the needs of the job. The purchase of the vehicles was included in the Fiscal Year 2020/21 Facilities capital budget.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this Appropriation Adjustment is not approved, the Division will not be able to purchase the vehicles needed to provide services throughout the County.
