RECOMMENDATION(S):

Accept and Declare the results of the Special Mail Election conducted on May 4, 2021 as on file in the Contra Costa County Service Area P2 Zone B (Alamo) Measure K.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None

BACKGROUND:

Elections Code 15372 requires the Elections Official to prepare a certified statement of results of the election and submit to the governing body within 30 days of the election.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

Contra Costa County Service Area P2 Zone B (Alamo) Measure K required 66.7% "yes" votes to pass. Measure K passed by 82.19% "yes" votes. A summary of Election Final results is attached to this Board Order.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The local jurisdiction measure will not receive official approval and authorization to accept and declare the results.
