1. Introductions
  The Committee members introduced themselves, as did those participating in the Zoom virtual meeting.
             
2. Public comment on any item under the jurisdiction of the Committee and not on this agenda (speakers may be limited to three minutes).
  A member of the public requested clarification about the COVID-19 pandemic health order surrounding re-opening of churches.
             
3. RECEIVE and APPROVE the Record of Action for the March 9, 2020 meeting.
  The Record of Action was approved as presented.

4. RECEIVE the report and provide direction to staff, as needed.
  The Committee received the report and discussed the need for additional federal assistance with the Budget. The Auditor-Controller expressed concerns about a Budget Trailer Bill that provided authority to the Department of Finance regarding ERAF (Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund). A member of the public expressed concerns about potential tax increases and homeless services.

5. CONSIDER recommending to the Board of Supervisors a position of "Support" on AB 2959 (Calderon) and direct staff to send the item to the Board on consent.
  The Committee received an oral report from staff and comments from an advocate for the bill.  The Committee voted unanimously to recommend a position of support for AB 2959 and directed staff to send the bill to the Board of Supervisors for action on their next available Consent calendar.

6. The next meeting is currently scheduled for July 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
