RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #72-148 containing mutual indemnification with Aunt Bertha, a Public Benefit Corporation, in an amount not to exceed $100,000, for a hosted software system and patient resource database including technical support and training services for the period from April 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Whole Person Care funds. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

This Contract meets the social needs of County's population in that it provides a look-up database for patients who have identified needs. This contract allows access to community resources, with the ability for resources to be uploaded into Epic.

Approval of Contract #72-148 allows the Contractor to provide services through March 31, 2021. This Contract includes mutual indemnification.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, County residents will not receive the benefits afforded by the County having a subscription to the resource database.
