RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Novation Contract #22-219-63 with Elior, Inc. (dba Bateman Community Living, LLC), a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $3,171,323, to provide meal services for County’s Senior Nutrition Program for the period from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. This Contract includes a three-month automatic extension through September 30, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $792,831.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is 100% federally funded, under Title III C-1 and Title III C-2 of the Federal Older Americans Act of 1965. No County funds are required. (Rate Increase)
BACKGROUND:
This Contractor was selected to provide meals for the Senior Nutrition Program through a competitive bid process conducted by the County’s General Services Department (Purchasing).
