RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Airports, or designee, to execute an amendment to the Consulting Services Agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to add an additional subconsultant to perform runway extension analysis. (100% Airport Enterprise Fund)

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no negative impact on the General Fund. All contract costs will be paid by the Airport Enterprise Fund.

BACKGROUND:

Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (Contractor) would like to have Coffman Associates added to their Consulting Services Agreement as one of their sub-contractors to perform a requested runway extension analysis for Buchanan Field Airport.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If not approved, Contractor will not be able to use Coffman Associates to perform the runway extension analysis, which will cause a delay in updating the Buchanan Field Airport Layout Plan.
