RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Health Services Director, a purchase order with R-Computer, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $630,500 for the purchase of custom computer monitors, scanners, laptops and related hardware accessories for the period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2021.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% funding is included in the Hospital Enterprise Fund I budget.
BACKGROUND:
Health Services Department's Information Technology Unit currently owns custom build systems, laptops, monitors, printers and other related hardware parts. These PC systems are custom configured and designed to fit for multiple Health Services Divisions including the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers, Mental Health, Public Health, Contra Costa Health Plan, Environmental Health, Medical Records, Mobile Clinics, School Based Clinics, and the Office of the Director/Finance.
