RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-455-13 with Conduent Healthcare Provider Consulting Solutions, Inc., a corporation, effective October 1, 2017, to amend Contract #23-455-8 (as amended by Amendment/Extension Agreements #23-455-9 through #23-455-11), to change the name from Conduent Healthcare Provider Consulting Solutions, Inc. to Atos Digital Health Solutions, Inc., with no change in the contract payment limit of $2,809,000 or the term of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This contract is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I. The recommended action has no additional fiscal impact.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this amendment is not approved, the contractor’s name will not be updated on the current contract.

BACKGROUND:

On June 16, 2015, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-455-8 (as amended by Amendment/Extension Agreements #23-455-9 through #23-455-11), with Conduent Healthcare Provider Consulting Solutions, Inc., for the provision of consulting and technical support for the Department’s Information Systems Unit, for the period from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-455-13 will allow the contractor to continue to provide consulting and technical support services for the Department’s Information Systems Unit under the new business name of Atos Digital Health Solutions, Inc. through June 30, 2018.
