RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the resignation of Trisha Mendel, DECLARE a vacancy in the District 1 Alternate seat on the First 5 Contra Costa Children and Families Commission, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

BACKGROUND:

The commission works to support early childhood development through a strategic plan developed pursuant to the California Children and Families First Act of 1998.
