RECOMMENDATION(S):

Employment and Human Services (0503)/Plant Acquisition (0111): APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5092 in the amount of $388,000 to transfer appropriations from EHSD to the Public Works Department for one capital project, as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

EHSD General Assistance appropriations will be reduced by $388,000 and transfered to Public Works for Capital Projects. This consists of 100% County revenue and no additional County general fund costs will result from these adjustments.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Department has identified the need to upgrade for a repair/replacement of the roof at 151 Linus Pauling Drive in Hercules with an estimated cost of $388,000.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Appropriations will not be properly allocated.
