RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2017/178 approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to partially close a portion of Fred Jackson Way between Market Avenue and Chesley Avenue, on July 4, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m., for the purpose of the 4th of July Parade and Festival, N. Richmond area.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Applicant will be unable to close the road for planned activities.
