The Department wants to ensure that the services being provided by the Detention Facility has the appropriate compensation level as the duties and responsibilities, and the work performed is at the Pharmacist II level. This position has been designated as the primary point of contact for the Detention Facility Pharmacy which oversees medication delivery and distribution for West County, Marsh Creek, Byron, Juvenile Hall and Martinez Detention facilities.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, the incumbent will not be compensated appropriately in the performance of the higher level duties. The Detention facility will not have an employee performing the required duties.
