4. 1. CONSIDER interviewing applicants for seats on the five Community Based Organization representative seats, the one Mental Health representative seat and the one Public Member - At Large seat; and,

2. RECOMMEND applicants for the seats identified above the the Board of Supervisors for consideration; and,

3. PROVIDE any additional direction to staff regarding the Disproportionate Minority Contact Task Force.

  • CBO seat 1:                                       Stephanie Medley (RYSE, AB109 CAB) (District I)

  • Mental Health:                                 Christine Gerchow, PhD. (Psychologist, Juvenile Hall-Martinez) (District IV)
  • Public (At-Large):                             Harlan Grossman (Past Chair AB 109 CAB, GARE participant) (District II)

2.  Schedule a special meeting for early-August to discuss appointment recommendations for remaining seats on the Task Force prior to bringing to the Board of Supervisors.

3. Retitle the Task Force from the "Disproportionate Minority Contact Task Force" to the "Racial Justice Task Force".
