RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Paul Farr (dba Paul Farr Construction) in an amount not to exceed $500,000 to provide general construction repair and maintenance, for the period from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2019, Countywide.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This cost is to be funded through Facilities Services maintenance budget. (100% General Fund)
BACKGROUND:
Public Works Facilities Services is responsible for maintenance and repair of all County facilities. Scheduling this maintenance is done by Facilities Services, but the most of the actual projects are performed by outside vendors. As bid on BidSync No. 1603-172, Paul Farr Construction is one of four vendors awarded this commodity. We are requesting this contract be approved for a period covering the next three years.
