RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #23-591 with Archer Business Solutions, LLC, a limited liability company, in an amount not to exceed $260,500 to provide professional consulting, system planning, project management and implementation support for the Department’s Information Systems Unit for the period from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #23-591 Contractor will provide professional consulting, technical support, training, and project management to the Department’s Information Systems, for the period from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, County will not have access to Contractor’s expert technical assistance with regard to support and optimization of the Information Systems Unit.
