RECOMMENDATION(S):

AUTHORIZE and APPROVE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute Software and Services Agreement #23-596 with Emocha Mobile Health Inc., in an amount not to exceed $150,000 to provide Tuberculosis Monitoring and Outreach software, equipment, system hosting and support for the period from May 1, 2016 through April 30, 2019.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Software and Services Agreement #23-596, the Contractor will provide Tuberculosis Monitoring and Outreach software through its Contractor-hosted system, which will allow the Health Services Department and patients to track laboratory measurements of the illness via telephone through April 30, 2019.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, the County will not be able to implement Contractor’s tuberculosis monitoring and outreach software therefore the County would have to call patients with laboratory results and capture them manually.
