RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74-521 with Robert Stuart Streett, MD, an individual, in an amount not to exceed $174,720, to provide outpatient psychiatric care services for the period from June 1, 2016 through May 31, 2017.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% Mental Health Realignment.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #74-521 the Contractor will provide outpatient psychiatric care services, including diagnosing, counseling, evaluating, and providing medical and therapeutic treatment to adults in Central Contra Costa County, for the period from June 1, 2016 through May 31, 2017.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, County’s clients will not have access to Contractor’s psychiatric care services.




CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:

This program supports the following Board of Supervisors’ community outcomes: “Children Ready For and Succeeding in School”; “Families that are Safe, Stable, and Nurturing”; and “Communities that are Safe and Provide a High Quality of Life for Children and Families”. Expected program outcomes include an increase in positive social and emotional development as measured by the Child and Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale (CAFAS).
