RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE improvement plans for the Kirker Pass Road Crash Cushion Replacement at Hess Road, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Pittsburg area.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this project is to replace the existing crash cushion at the north end of the median barrier on Kirker Pass Road at the north intersection with Hess Road. The existing crash cushion does not have available replacement parts. The project will remove the existing crash cushion and install a new REACT 350.9HS in the same location.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The crash cushion will not be installed.
