RECOMMENDATION(S): (CONT'D)
DIRECT the Director of Conservation and Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk, and

FISCAL IMPACT:

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Project is to install eight (8) electrical outlets with lockable, weatherproof covers on the Fred Jackson Way median island in North Richmond. The community envisions the median island as a location for periodic community events. The installation of electrical outlets along the median will help to better serve this purpose. Encroachment permits would be required for any events scheduled at this location and would include providing approved access to the electrical outlets.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Delay in approving the project may result in a delay of design, construction, and may jeopardize funding.
