RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #76-544 with Dayana Carcamo-Molina, M.D., Inc. a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $1,620,000 to provide gastroenterology services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers (CCRMC) for the period from June 1, 2016 through May 31, 2019.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #76-544 the Contractor will provide gastroenterology services including, but not limited to, clinic coverage, consultation, on-call coverage, training and medical procedures at CCRMC for the period from June 1, 2016 through May 31, 2019.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, patients requiring gastroenterology services at CCRMC will not have access to Contractor’s services.
