1. Introductions
             
2. Public comment on any item under the jurisdiction of the Committee and not on this agenda (speakers may be limited to three minutes).
  There was no public comment offered.
             
3. Accept the update from the Local Planning and Advisory Council for Early Care and Education regarding the Countywide Child Care Plan and forwarding the report to the Board of Supervisors for their information.
  The Committee accepted the report and requested staff from the Local Planning Council to send the report to the Board of Supervisors for informational purposes.

4. Accept the report from the Employment and Human Services Committee and direct staff to forward the report to the Board of Supervisors.
  Accepted the reports from Zero Tolerance for Domestic Violence staff on the Family Justice Centers and Commercially Sexually Exploited Children and directed that the reports be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors.

5. Accept the report from the Health Services Department Public Health Division and direct staff to forward the report to the Board of Supervisors.
  Accepted the reports from the Health Services Department, Public Health Division on policy options to protect youth from tobacco influences in the retail environment and directed staff to report to the Board of Supervisors in open session to receive input on possible modifications to the County's tobacco ordinance.

6. The next regular meeting scheduled for July 13, 2014 has been cancelled.  A special meeting is scheduled for July 20, 2014.
             
7. Adjourn

The Family & Human Services Committee will provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities planning to attend Family & Human Services Committee meetings. Contact the staff person listed below at least 72 hours before the meeting.
