RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #27-854-4 with Advent Advisory Group, LLC, a Limited Liability Company, effective May 1, 2015, to amend Contract #27-854-2 (as amended by Contract Amendment Agreement #27-854-3), to increase the payment limit by $59,000, from $71,000 to a new payment limit of $130,000, with no change in the original term of October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2015.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This amendment is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan Enterprise Fund II. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

On January 6, 2015, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-854-2 (as amended by Contract Amendment Agreement #27-854-3) with Advent Advisory Group, LLC, for the provision of audit services, for the period from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2015. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #27-854-4 will allow the Contractor to provide additional compliance auditing services through September 30, 2015.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this amendment is not approved, Contra Costa Health Plan will not have access to the additional audit services provided by this Contractor.
