RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21677, to increase hours of Administrative Services Assistant III (represented) position #13567 from 36/40 to 40/40 in the Health Services Department.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Upon approval, this action has an annual cost of approximately $15,482.76, which includes $2,813.30 pension costs.The cost is Delivery System Reform Incentive Payments program Waiver Funded.

BACKGROUND:

The Health Services Department is requesting to increase the hours of vacant part-time Administrative Services Assistant III (represented) position #13567 from 36/40 to 40/40. This position will support Hospital Administration and the Quality department in meeting the many regulatory mandates to assure good patient outcomes. This position will also support the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payments program in obtaining optimal reimbursements for care rendered.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, there is not enough hours to meet the many regulatory mandates in Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and its health center.
