RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve the attached changes to the 2014 Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations, as recommended by the Medical Executive Committee, the Joint Conference Committee and Health Services Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The attached changes to the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations will allow the Department o come into compliance and consistency with current regulations and practices in relation to electronic medical records and hospital committee work.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this Board Order is not approved, the Medical Staff will have to use Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations that are outdated.
