RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-797 with Mission Recruiting, LLC, a Limited Liability Company, in an amount not to exceed $300,000, to recruit family practice physicians at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from May 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #26-797, the Contractor will recruit family practice physicians for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers to fill on-going vacancies. Services include, but are not limited to, advertising, screening, and providing reference materials for potential candidates, for the period from May 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers may result in a shortage of Family Practice Physicians.
