RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2015/173 to approve and authorize the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with the California Department of Aging, to extend the contract term from June 30, 2015 through September 30, 2015 with no change in the payment limit of $74,078, for Older Americans Act, Title III and Title VII services.

FISCAL IMPACT:

$74,078: No additional funding. No fiscal impact, (Agreement Number SP-1415-07, Amendment 1).

BACKGROUND:

The amendment extends the term of the contract from June 30, 2015 through September 30, 2015. The additional period of time is needed to allow the completion of contracted activities. The original Scope of Work and Budget remain the same. No additional funds have been allocated to the extended time period.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Without extension of the contract term, service delivery and contracted activities would lapse.

CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:

Not applicable.
