CDVA administers the above two revenue programs per California Code of Regulations, Title 12, Subchapter 4. CDVA conducts annual audits of these program operations to determine whether the workload and staffing needs are consistent with the reported workload activity.
For FY 2012/2013, the County received $101,766 in Subvention and $5,971 in Medi-Cal Cost Avoidance and in FY 2013/2014 $74,986 and $16,881 was received, respectively, per the Military and Veterans Code of California, sections 972, 972.1 and 972.5. It is anticipated that for FY 2014/15, revenue will be consistent with revenue received in prior years (excluding the "one Time Special Subvention" of $85,793).
The County would not be able to receive Subvention and Medi-Cal Cost Avoidance revenue.
