RECOMMENDATION(S):

RESCIND Traffic Resolution No. 1997/3829; and ADOPT Traffic Resolution No. 2015/4427 to prohibit parking at all times on the west side of Vassar Avenue (Road No. 1655AC), beginning at a point 10 feet south of the south curb line of Yale Avenue (Road No. 1552B) and extending southerly a distance of 25 feet, Kensington area.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

Prohibiting parking at this location will improve roadway intersection sight lines for vehicles traveling on the roadways.



CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Should the Board elect not to approve the recommendation, vehicles could park at these locations and limit local authorities' parking enforcement abilities based on the California Vehicle Code.
