RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE the amended Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations to address operational needs, as recommended by the Medical Executive Committee, the Joint Conference Committee and Health Services Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact for this action.

BACKGROUND:

The changes to the 2023 Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations will bring them into compliance and consistency with current regulations and practices in relation to electronic medical records and hospital committee work.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Medical Staff will have outdated Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations.
