RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2021/150 approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close a portion of Columbia Avenue at 205 Columbia Avenue, on May 13, 2021, and May 14, 2021, from 7:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., for the purpose of operating a crane from the roadway to remove (1) Douglas Fir and (1) Magnolia Tree, Kensington area. (District I)  

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

The removal of the trees and closure of the roadway are necessary for public safety. Applicant has provided appropriate documentation to the Public Works Department required for the closure of County roads. Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department for the duration of the closure.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Applicant will be unable to close the road for planned activities.
