RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE referrals to the Transportation, Water and Infrastructure Committee for action in 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None. The cost to staff this Committee is included in the budget of the Department of Conservation and Development. Cost for Committee reports are borne by the department or agency responsible for addressing the referral item.

BACKGROUND:

Each year the Board of Supervisors is asked to approve a list of issues to be referred to its standing committees. The attached list of referrals was reviewed and approved by the Transportation, Water and Infrastructure Committee at its February 8, 2021 meeting for recommendation to the full Board of Supervisors.

The Committee made two revisions to the prior list as indicated in the attached recommended referral list for 2021 (see items 17 and 26).

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Transportation, Water and Infrastructure Committee will not have a Board of Supervisors approved list of issues to monitor.
