RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 25606 authorizing the addition of positions (as specified in the attached) in the Health Services Department for the provision of medical and mental healthcare services at adult detention facilities.

FISCAL IMPACT:

$3,329,808.85 Annually; 100% General Fund.

BACKGROUND:

This action creates 15.2 FTE new positions in the Health Services Department to augment medical and mental health services provided to inmates at the county adult detention facilities. These positions are identified in the P300 No. 25606 attached to this board order.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The positions outlined in the position adjustment resolution will not be authorized by the Board.
