RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Traffic Resolution No. 2020/4495 to prohibit stopping, standing, or parking at all times on the north side of San Pablo Dam Road (Road No. 0961D), beginning at a point 496 feet east of the eastern curb line prolongation of Milton Drive (Road No. 1265Q) and extending easterly a distance of 15 feet, El Sobrante area.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

The Transportation Engineering Division of the Public Works Department received a complaint from a resident regarding parked vehicles at 4365 San Pablo Dam Road. Transportation Engineering Staff responded by conducted a site visit and determined that parking should be restricted based on inadequate space for parking a standard-sized or larger vehicle between driveways. Measurements and observation reveal a standard or full-sized vehicle parking in this space would likely encroach into one or more of the successive driveways.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Parking will remain unrestricted at this location.
