RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #76-693 with MultiMedical Systems, LLC, a limited liability company, in an amount not to exceed $296,400, to provide temporary maintenance and repair services on various medical equipment at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers for the period May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #76-693, the Contractor will provide temporary BMETII staffing at CCRMC and Contra Costa Health Centers for maintenance and repair services to various medical equipment for the period May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2021.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, County will not have access to Contractor’s services for maintenance and repair services of biomedical equipment.
