RECOMMENDATION(S):

Accept and Declare the results of the Special Mail Election conducted on May 7, 2019 as on file in the Contra Costa Elections Division for the Contra Costa County Service Area P5 (Round Hill) Measure C. Measure C required 66.7% "yes" votes to pass. Measure C passed by 75.51% "yes" votes as of election night.

BACKGROUND:

Elections Code 15372 requires the Elections Official to prepare a certified statement of the results of the election and submit to the governing body within 28 days of the election.

A summary of Election Night Final results is attached to this Board Order.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The local jurisdiction measure will not receive official approval and authorization to accept and declare the results.
