This is a standing item of the Commission.

Referral Update:

The Sustainability Commission Chair provides an update at each meeting to Commission members on the administration of the Commission, meetings of the Board of Supervisors Ad Hoc Committee on Sustainability, and other issues of interest to the Commission.

The Sustainabilty Commission at its April 22, 2019 meeting discussed the adoption of a rubric that could be used to evaluate the environmental justice aspects of the ongoing update to the County's General Plan and Climate Action Plan. The discussion item is included as an attachment in the event the Sustainability wishes to provide direction to the Sustainability Commission in this matter.
