RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Appropriation and Revenue Adjustment No. 5077 and AUTHORIZE the transfer of appropriations in the amount of $36,000 from Facilities Maintenance to ISF Fleet Services for the purchase of an F-150 Super cab pickup truck, as recommended by the Public Works Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This action increases appropriations in ISF Fleet Services (4284) and reduces appropriations in Facilities Maintenance (4031) by $36,000.

BACKGROUND:

The Facilities Maintenance Division has hired additional staff and needs to provide vehicles to the staff in order to meet the needs of the job. The purchase of the vehicle was included in the FY2018/19 Facilities capital budget.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this Appropriation Adjustment is not approved, the Division will not be able to purchase the vehicles needed to provide services throughout the County.
