RECOMMENDATION(S):

RESCIND Traffic Resolution No. 4092, adopted on November 2, 2004, which prohibited parking except for vehicles of individuals with disabilities, on a portion of the east side of Rodeo Avenue (Road No. 1795AP), as recommended by the Public Works Director, Rodeo area.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

It was determined that a parking space previously designated for disabled persons only, is no longer needed. Public Works Traffic Engineering staff conducted a site visit confirming the disabled resident no longer lives at the property. Therefore, Public Works Traffic Engineering recommends removing the restricted parking based on established policy.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Parking will remain restricted at this location.
