RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the resignation of Ed Haynes, DECLARE a vacancy in the District III seat on the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Fire Advisory Commission, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by Supervisor Burgis.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Advisory Fire Commission reviews and advises on annual operations and capital budgets, review Fire District expenditures; advises the Fire Chief on district service matters; and serves as liaison between the Board of Supervisors and the community served by the fire district.
