RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Position Adjustment No.22273 to reassign three (3) Deputy Sheriff-40 Hour (represented) positions and incumbents, from Department 300 (Custody Services Bureau) to 255 (Field Operations Bureau), and to reassign one (1) Deputy Sheriff-40 Hour (represented) position from Department 7650 (Crockett) to Department 300 (Custody Services Bureau) as specified in Attachment A, in the Office of the Sheriff.   
  

FISCAL IMPACT:

There will be no fiscal impact.  

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Failure to approve the request would prevent the Field Operations Bureau from having the appropriate staffing necessary to improve service delivery in the Patrol Division.


BACKGROUND:

The Office of the Sheriff is requesting to reassign three positions from the Custody Services Bureau to the Field Operations Bureau in order to fulfill staffing needs in our Patrol Division to be a more responsive, effective and efficient organization.
