RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Extension Agreement #23-564-4 with Soliant Health, Inc., a corporation, for recruitment services for the Information Systems Unit of the Health Services Department, to extend the termination date from June 30, 2017 to June 30, 2018.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None, there is no change in the Contract Payment Limit of $970,200. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

In January 2015, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #23-564 with Soliant Health, Inc. (as amended by Amendment Agreements #23-564-1 through #23-564-3) for the provision of recruitment services for the Information Systems Unit of the Health Services Department, for the period from January 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

Approval of Contract Extension Agreement #23-564-4 will allow the Contractor to continue providing recruitment services to the Information Systems Unit through June 30, 2018.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this extension is not approved, the Information Systems Unit will not be able to recruit and fill vacant positions.
