RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT a report from the Fire Chief providing a status summary for ongoing Fire District activities and initiatives.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

At the request of the Contra Costa County Fire Board of Directors, the Fire Chief is providing a report on the status and progress of the various District initiatives.

No impact.

ACCEPTED the report.

The Supervisors noted that the long-term plans of the Fire Protection District are complex and cover many facilities. It has been several months since review of the overall outlook has been discussed. Staff will bring to the Board an overall timeline of when stations might be reopened, other facilities built or upgraded, and equipment purchased.
