RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Board Order to correct the term expiration date previously approved for the District V Representative Alternate Seat on the Contra Costa Fire Protection District Advisory Commission to reflect the current seat expiration date of June 30, 2017.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

On April 12, 2016 the Board of Supervisors approved the appointment of Walter Fields to the District V Representative Alternate Seat on the Contra Costa Fire Protection District Attorney Commission, and it specified a term expiration date of September 2018 (Item C.18). The Board Order should instead have stated that the expiration date for the term of this appointment is June 30, 2017.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The term expiration date for the District V Representative Alternate Seat will continue to be recorded erroneously.
