RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2016/351 accepting for recording purposes only, an Offer of Dedication - Slope and Access Easement from Shappell Industries Inc., a Delaware Corporation, for a portion of Parcel L, Subdivision 8306 Gale Ranch, Project No. WL085G - RA12-1249, as recommended by the Public Works Director, San Ramon area.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

On October 2, 2014, Contra Costa County accepted an offer of dedication for recording purposes of a Slope and Access Easement to RA 12-1249 by a Certificate of Acceptance, Certificate Number 14-58 under document number 2014-0170320. It has been discovered that an offer of dedication for recording purposes only, cannot be accepted by a Certificate of Acceptance.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

To properly accept the Offer of Dedication, for recording purposes only, the Board must adopt a Resolution.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Offer of Dedication for a slope and access easement will be not be recorded.
