Referral Update:
At this time staff does not have a written report on this item. The situation is critical and developing, staff will provide an up-to-date verbal report at the TWIC meeting.

Both staff and elected officials have been involved in a number of meetings that the include Contra Costa County Water Agency, Contra Costa Public Works Department, Contra Costa County Drought Task Force, County and Office of Emergency Services (Cal-OES), the Department of Environmental Health, Contra Costa Water District, East Bay MUD, Contra Costa Local Agency Formation Commission, the State Water Board, and others. TWIC should discuss the recommendations and next steps from these meetings.

June 1 is the deadline for all agencies to have a strategy in place for initiating the Executive Order, (see attachment).

CONSIDER Executive Order B-29-15 (Continued State of Emergency - Drought Conditions - Edmund G. Brown Jr.), DISCUSS a Contra Costa County response, and take ACTION as appropriate.
