RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #27-687-5 with Hilltop Radiology, LLC (dba Hilltop Imaging), Limited Liability Company in an amount not to exceed $170,000, to provide diagnostic imaging services to Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) members, for the period from March 1, 2015 through February 28, 2017.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% Contra Costa Health Plan Enterprise Funds II. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

In March 2013, the County Administrator approved and Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #27-687-4 with Hilltop Radiology, LLC (dba Hilltop Imaging), for the provision of diagnostic imaging services to CCHP members, for the period from March 1, 2013 through February 28, 2015.

Approval of Contract #27-687-5 will allow Contractor to continue providing diagnostic imaging services through February 28, 2017.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, certain specialized professional health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County will not be provided.
