RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent on behalf of Employment and Human Services Department to execute a Purchase Order with Sam Clar in an amount not to exceed $435,336 for the purchase of office landscape partitioning (OLP), office furnishings, and installation at the Stanwell Circle office space for the period May 5, 2015 through June 19, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$435,436: Administrative Overhead; 10% County, 45% State, 45% Federal.
BACKGROUND:
The Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD), Workforce Services Bureau and Staff Development are relocating approximately 129 staff members from a variety of current EHSD locations including offices in Pittsburgh, Martinez, Hercules, and Pleasant Hill to a Concord location. The Concord office space requires office landscape partitioning (aka work cubicles) furnishings, and installation for the incoming staff.
