RECOMMENDATION(S):

DECLARE vacant Seat 4 on the Contra Costa Centre Municipal Advisory Council previously held by Brian Amador due to resignation, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

On April 9, 2015 Brian Amador notified the office of Supervisor Mitchoff of his resignation from the Contra Costa Centre Municipal Advisory Council. Mr. Amador’s term expires on January 4, 2019.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

The Contra Costa Centre Municipal Advisory Council advises the Board of Supervisors on local government services. In addition to advising the Board of Supervisors, the Council also provides input to county staff or any county hearing body on issues of concern to the community.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Seat 4 appointment on the Contra Costa Centre Municipal Advisory Council will go unfilled.
