RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Conflict of Interest Code for the Learner-Centered School, Inc. ("Charter School").

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Charter School has amended its Conflict of Interest Code and submitted the revised code, attached as Exhibit A, to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code sections 87306 and 87306.5.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

The revisions to the Conflict of Interest Code for the Charter School include updates to the list of positions designated to file a statement of economic interest, the disclosure categories, the Charter School's name (formerly Antioch Charter Academy), and various non-substantive revisions. A strike-out version of the Conflict of Interest Code is included as Exhibit B. These changes will ensure that the Conflict of Interest Code accurately reflects the current positions and organizational structure of the Charter School.
