RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller, or designee, to pay stipends in an amount not to exceed $150 per Resource Family or birth parent for the successful completion of Heritage training as approved by the Employment and Human Services Department for a total payment amount not to exceed $50,000 for the period July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The $50,000 of stipends are funded 50% by Child Welfare funds (18% County, 44% State, and 38% Federal).
